Here I am writing a blog post for the first time since 2021.
Waiting for all the waves of fulfilment to hit in 3... 2... 1...
All kidding aside, I can't wait to see if this scratches an itch I've had for a while about not writing something down.
I shall now write a Week Note! As everyone knows, a week note is when your voice cracks when you try to sing like Chester Bennington.
Kek. I actually did ask around and apparently there are templates for this! I couldn't get my hands on the resources though. A promise to myself: what I definitely lack in style, I will attempt to make up for in content. I am looking forward to writing about this week as it's one of the eventful ones.
Let's see here:
I moved back to Bangalore (officially!) (parttime!) (and another thing!) after 6 whole years in my hometown! Looking forward to snorting all new kinds of fumes on my way to work, to sushi restaurants, and this cool technology group I found in Indiranagar. A shout-out to the awesome Oxford Comma! Nothing like a well timed pause in your prose.
I walked around the confusing mess that is Goreguntepalya - I'm beginning to see the charm of living in a gated society thats a couple of meters away from the biggest shanty in Bangalore. Just think of the savings...
Attended a wedding for the first time as a married couple! The bride and groom were happy, Medha looked beautiful, and I was also around. The customary sneak-off to vape aside, I was quite the model married man. I can't wait to systematically shed that tag as well, as I have come to do with similar tags.
I have finally started thinking about what I want to do with my time now that I've completed the main quest, so to speak. Some people will say it is half complete as I do not have children yet - to them I plan to say, "I'll put something on the calendar". It's my go-to saying when I want someone to feel like I'm considering it.
Mom, I'm considering it. It's on the calendar.
But like I said - main quest completed. On to the side quests, I think: - I'm looking forward to spending more time on my pre-concept Godot game over the weekend. I think I have the story beats pretty much decided, and some of the game mechanics, but I still don't have a satisfying ending - I think I'll finish that next. - I'm getting into Series A investing now. It helps to have snooty friends after all.
